From 'European Cup Champions Trophy' to 'UEFA Cup Champions Trophy': What's the story behind this name change?
In today's European football history, the "European Cup Winners' Cup" can be described as a glorious journey. The competition was initiated by the Italian Football Association at the time and was officially recognized by the European Football Association (UEFA) in 1963.
