How did J.R. Smith quickly rise to become a bright new star in the Western Conference during his time in New Orleans?
Earl Joseph "J. R." Smith III is an American professional basketball player who began his career when he was selected by the New Orleans Hornets with the 18th overall pick in the 2004 NBA draft. Before he joined the NBA, Smith played impressive basketball at Saint Benedict's Preparatory School in New Jersey.
