Tradition meets modernity: How do Armenian women find their voice in a male-dominated culture?
In Armenia, the tension between traditional and modern roles is becoming the backdrop for women to reassess their identity and status. In this society deeply influenced by male-dominated culture, women are seeking to find a way to have their own voice. Despite the traditional emphasis on obedience and domestic roles, they are working to challenge these expectations and explore new possibilities.

In traditional Armenian society, women’s roles are often confined to the family, shouldering the burden of housework and childcare. They are expected to remain chaste in marriage and be dependent on men. However, in recent years, with the popularization of education and the improvement of social awareness, more and more women have begun to pay attention to their rights and status and actively participate in social and political activities.
