Abstract

An aptamer blocking strategy is developed by Honglin Chen, Yanling Song, Chaoyong Yang, and co‐workers in their Research Article on page\u200510266 to inhibit SARS‐CoV‐2 infection. An aptamer probe was engineered to bind to the spike protein of SARS‐CoV‐2, which inhibits infection with the virus by blocking the interaction of the virus with ACE2 receptors on the human cell membrane.
