Recurrence of endometrial carcinoma presenting as vulvar lesions
Abstract
Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecological malignancy in developed countries. Although this cancer generally carries a good prognosis, 10%-15% of patients will suffer recurrent disease and vulvar metastasis is extremely rare. A 60-year-old female (G3P3) was referred to the vulvo-vaginal clinic in Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel, with a 3-month history of painful vulvar lesions that were initially treated by others for molluscum contagiosum.
