An unusual case of cervico‐cutaneous fistula
Abstract
A fistula is defined as an abnormal communication between two epithelized surfaces-a cervico-cutaneous fistula is an unusual communication between the uterine cervix and the skin. Vesicovaginal, recto-vaginal,and uterovaginal fistulae are rare complications associated withobstetric trauma and gynecological surgery [1]. It is unusual and extremely rare for a cervico-cutaneous fistula to occur as a result of cesarean delivery. Previously, one case of cervico-cutaneous fistula following septic abortion was reported in the literature from India [2].
