Abstract

To the editor: We thank Cussa et al. for providing their experience regarding our article titled Application of 3-Dimensional Printing in Pediatric Living Donor Liver Transplantation: A Single-Center Experience published in Liver Transplantation. Cussa et al. applied 3-dimensional (3D) printing in living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) of a recipient of 4-year-old child. Through creating 3D-models, defining virtual resection line, building the model, and realizing the surgical guide, they obtained a 220-gram graft from her mother with a restricted left hepatectomy and preserved the graft segment 4 arterial inflow. Additionally, they showed beautiful pictures of liver model and graft.
