Effect of radical prostatectomy on involuntary pelvic floor muscle contraction

Abstract

Radical prostatectomy may cause stress urinary incontinence (SUI). We compared continent and incontinent men after radical prostatectomy, in regard to the change of the temporal pattern of pelvic floor activation during cough.
