German Water Protection Law with a Particular Focus on Waste Water Management

Abstract

This contribution provides an overview about the German water protection law and about the legal strategies and instruments for water management. The analysis also includes the legal European approaches to water management and their relevance for the German legislation. The report emphasises the legal framework for waste water disposal which is laying down in federal and Lander law.
