I have been studying aerospace history for a while, following the lunar missions and subsequent projects (for example, Skylab, the Space Shuttle, Viking, Voyager) and after the end of the Cold War, I was happy to learn more about the Soviet program. But now people ask me whether any of it even happened! And if I say that it did, they ask me to prove it.
