Abstract

With the power electronics technology improvement in the deployment of energy internet, the demand for rectifier circuit is rapidly growing. The Energy Internet (EI) also known as the integrated Internet-based smart grid and energy resources inherits all the functionality of the existing smart grid. The rectifier circuit structure of the smart grid has become inadequate in needs of energy domains in the 21st century. Then, the UPS system is also an important position, which not only ensures the uninterrupted power supply of the system but also improves the more reliable power quality of energy storage devices and the utilization rate of power greatly. In this paper, the improved bridge rectifier circuit topology is adopted to study the output waveform of the rectifier circuit, and through the logic circuit to control the thyristor on and off, the full feedback regulation of the output circuit can be realized to further control the output waveform. This study overcomes the disadvantages of high harmonic content and low power factor of traditional diode rectifier and phase controlled rectifier and has the advantages of high power factor and low harmonic content of rectifier. The problems to be studied are illustrated from the collection of test points and the realization of full feedback control. Finally, the comparative analysis of output waveform of several different rectifier circuits is made to further prove the necessity of the study of full feedback regulation of bridge rectifier circuits to improve the power factor. The research results are of great significance for developing new rectifier, filtering harmonic in power grid, improving power factor, maintaining power supply reliability and improving the power quality of energy Internet.
