Analysis of Optimization Effects of Deflection Angle of a Disc-Type Grinding Wheel on Accuracy of Profile Dividing Grinding of Gears

 
 
 
 

Abstract


The article presents results of the research on grinding operations of a gear wheels, grinded with use of profile dividing method on the Rapid Hofler grinders, with consideration of deflection angle of the grinding wheel. Essential investigations had concerned effect of the helix angle β of the grinding wheel on accuracy of grinded teeth. Results of the research are presented in tabular form, where reference was done to obtained values of the deflections characterizing grinded gears, and in graphical form with diagrams. The most accurate results of the measurements were obtained on the gear wheels marked as 1 and 4; 74% of the accuracy classes of these gears have obtained classes 1–3, and other 27% obtained classes between 4–5.
