Technology Enables Struggling with Everyday Life’s Chores: Working Women with Two or More Small Children Are Confident Technology Users
Abstract
The aim of this study is to diagnose the role of technology in the daily life of working women in Poland, a Central-East European society in the macro-process of gender equality social negotiation, who may experience an overwhelming burden of household chores. Technology Adoption Propensity scale was useful in determining what, under the condition of Covid-19 related lockdown and enforced work from home, the digital technology portrait of working women bringing up children in Poland is in terms of optimism, proficiency and vulnerability.
