Common Causes, Diagnostic Evaluation, and Treatment in Women

Abstract

Chronic urogenital pain requires a thorough diagnostic evaluation to guide appropriate treatment. Common causes in women include endometriosis, interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome, localized vulvar pain syndrome, and pudendal neuralgia. Presented are the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of these common sources of chronic pain.
