Teaching Entrepreneurship and Innovation to University Students

 

Abstract


This paper summarizes the findings from a 7-year study, where an innovation and entrepreneurship course was developed by a cohort of engineering professors for engineering majors—with the task of building student interest and skills in innovation and entrepreneurship. The article outlines the what, why, and how, and presents the findings from a pre–post course inventory administered to the students over the 7-year period.
