A Healthcare System for In-Home ICU During COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The number of reported Covid-19 cases are increasing so rapidly that even developed countries are being unable to afford to get a bed in hospitals for every Covid-19 positive patient Shortage in number of doctors is also a problem This is the reason why physicians encourage patients to stay at home and take care of themselves Our intention is to formulate a system for patients with home ICU This application will help to archive every patient’s health response and alert people nearby A threshold of each body parameter has been set so that an alarming system can call for help immediately For constant checking of every patient’s health condition for making further decision is fulfilled by developing a real time database system that helps to store and share data in remote areas A data management system allows the clinician to access important information through one platform for avoiding crucial details A password system makes the stored data secured for not to compromise with patients’ privacy © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd
