Analog Simulation of Neutron Evolution in Reactor Dynamics Problems
Abstract
The possibility of using analog simulation of neutron evolution in conjunction with a non-stationary thermohydraulic calculation in reactor dynamics problems is considered. The coordination of neutron and thermohydraulic calculations is accomplished within the framework of an asynchronous approach. Numerical examples illustrating the applied approach on models of typical operating modes of nuclear reactors are presented and show its promising potential in the practice of reactor calculations.
