АннотацияСтатья посвящена русским конструкциям с частицами пусть и пускай. Хотя по многим признакам эти частицы выражают грамматическое значение побуждения, ряд особенностей в поведении конструкций с этими частицами заставляет сомневаться в их грамматической природе. В статье обсуждаются два вопроса: можно ли считать, что конструкции с частицами пусть\u2009/\u2009пускай выражают значение императива к 3-му лицу и можно ли считать их грамматическими.AbstractThe paper discusses Russian constructions that contain the third person imperative particles pust’ and puskaj. Whilst the particles do show quite a few features of grammatical categories, some of their other properties cast doubt on their grammaticality status. In the paper I address two issues: first, is it feasible to state that the two constructions express the meaning of third person imperative; second, is it feasible to consider them grammaticalized markers of mood.
