Abstract


1. What is your diagnosis? Liddle syndrome (LS) 2. What are the other possible etiologies of hyporeninemic hypertension? Hyporeninemic hypertension can be seen in congenital adrenal hyperplasia, apparent mineralocorticoid excess syndrome, glucocorticoid remediable aldosteronism, and pseudohypoaldosteronism type 2 (Gordon syndrome). 3. What are the treatment options? Treatment consists of drugs that directly inhibit ENaC such as amiloride or triamterene, and a salt-restricted diet.
