Abstract

With the growing tension in construction land, more and more old goafs are planned for construction land. In this paper, the ground disturbance of different building positions is simulated and studied in view of the old goaf planning as building land. To determine the scope and characteristic parameters of the overlying strata failure induced by mining in the old goaf, mechanical test was carried out by drilling the core, and obtained the mining effect of overlying strata mechanical properties. Combined with the empirical formula, the scope of the water flowing fracture zone in the goaf was obtained through comprehensive analysis. The mechanical characteristics of the broken gangues with different water contents in the old goaf were obtained by broken gangues compression tests. In order to ensure the rationality of the simulation, the rationality of the parameters is verified by comparing the deformation values of the ground movement monitored by the actual mining with the simulation measured values. Finally, through numerical simulation, the additional deformation of different building locations in the old goaf were obtained. The results of this paper can guide the construction of building groups, provide reference criteria for foundation stability at different locations and can provide a theoretical basis for the reuse of old goafs.
