Soil erosion and regional industrial upgrading in the Yangtze River surrounding area based on ecological evaluation

Abstract

Since one of the main environmental changes caused by land use and cover change (LUCC) is soil erosion, it is necessary to investigate the interaction between land use and soil erosion in the watershed during their spatial changes. In this study, based on RS and GIS technology, four TM remote sensing images from 1990 to 2020 were used to affect the main soil erosion factors such as land use, slope, vegetation coverage, and the revised soil erosion. The analysis model (RUSLE) analyzes the soil erosion and calculates the soil erosion intensity classification map. Finally, a comprehensive analysis of the important effects of land use changes and human activities on soil erosion in the entire Yangtze River Basin is carried out. Secondly, combine the industrial system and the ecological environment system to establish a coupling system between the industry and the ecological environment, use the combination degree and the combination adjustment degree to modify the model, and analyze the combination and adjustment status of industrial upgrading and ecological environment optimization. At present, the overall industrial structure of the Yangtze River Economic Belt has a clear tendency to rationalize, but there are big differences between the upstream, middle, and downstream of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. The degree of rationalization of the downstream industrial structure is much higher than that of the middle-production regions and upstream regions. The gap between regions is increasing year by year, and the overall industrial structure is constantly advancing. In order to further improve the degree of integration and adjustment, the spatial layout of the industry must be further optimized in accordance with the direction of ecology. At the same time, it is necessary not only to cultivate and develop ecological industrial parks, but also to give play to its demonstration effect and guiding role. It is also necessary to vigorously develop energy-saving and environmental protection industries, encourage technological innovation, strengthen environmental supervision, and strictly manage the development of ecological industries.
