Analysis of a Virus Model with Cure Rate, General Incidence Function and Time Delay
Abstract
In this work, we investigate a virus model with time delay and function of general incidence. We illustrate the solvability through solutions for the model. Using Lyapunov functionals, we prove that if the basic reproduction number $$R_0 \\le 1$$ R 0 ≤ 1 , then the infection-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, and when $$R_0 > 1$$ R 0 > 1 , the infection will persist by the global asymptotic stability of infection equilibrium.
