Abstract

Abstract The rapid growth of the Internet of things (IoT) and cloud computing in the last decade have brought healthcare services to the next level. In the era of digitization of pathology, an enormous amount of data is generated, and newer technologies are being developed for automated data processing that are accessible via the cloud at a low cost. The integration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence with IoT and cloud computing is reshaping the entire health paradigm by providing a rapid low-cost diagnosis. In the present scenario, with the scarcity of specialized experts, besides their availability at remote locations and the physical movement restrictions of patients, IoT-cloud technology can be of great help in providing e-diagnostic solutions. These innovations will help in cutting the barriers to affordable and effective healthcare access.
