A high-performance dysprosium(III) single-ion magnet with quasi-Oh symmetry
Abstract
Abstract A {Zn2Dy} single-ion magnet (SIM) with octahedral coordination geometry (Oh) was synthesized and characterized. The zero-field-cooled (ZFC) and field-cooled (FC) magnetic susceptibility measurement diverged below 4.1\xa0K, revealing the presence of the magnetic blocking. Combining experimental data and ab initio calculations, we depicted the dynamic relaxation characters of this complex in detail.
