Hexagonal sheet-like tin disulfide@ graphene oxide prepared by a novel two-step method as anode material for high-performance lithium-ion batteries
Abstract
Abstract Tin disulfide@graphene oxide (GO) nanocomposite was successfully synthesized using a novel method at the first time. SnO2 quantum dots@GO (QDs@GO) prepared by traditional molten salt method was transformed into SnS2@GO nanocomposite in subsequent hydrothermal method. The as-synthesized SnS2@GO shows a regular hexagonal sheet-like nanostructure. Despite only a small amount of GO (2.4\u202fwt%) is contained in the nanocomposite, it still exhibits high specific capacity, excellent rate capability and cycling performances as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries. This novel two-step method may provide an attractive alternative approach for the preparation of transition metal sulfides (TMSs) anode materials.
