Bearing capacity of polymer composite materials determination by parameters of registered acoustic emission
Abstract
Abstract This work presents a research of the registered acoustic emission (AE) signals during the static deformation and destruction of the polymer composite material (PCM). An analysis of the AE signals accumulation character, Ib-value, probability densities of peak amplitudes and median frequencies was done. An approach for the identification of the PCM destruction stages and the definition of the bearing capacity based on the energy and frequency analysis of the AE signals wavelet decomposition was proposed.
