Analysis, thermal and optical properties of piperdine derivative for NLO applications
Abstract
Abstract Nonlinear optical single crystal N-[(1-benzoylpiperidine-4-yl) methyl] benzamide (BPMB) synthesized by using slow evaporation technique. The powder X- ray diffraction confirms the crystal originality. The studies such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic analysis (FTIR), 1H Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) were carried out to elucidate the functional group, molecular group. The quantitative analysis of BPMB were done by Thermo gravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The work indexed was measured by following the micro hardness test. The single crystal undergone Ultraviolet/visible/near infrared spectral analysis (UV–Vis-NIR) to study there transmittance. Optoelectronic property of the grown crystal was examined using photoluminescence test. Non Linear Optical test (NLO) supports the second harmonic efficiency in the crystal.
