A study of tunable optical properties of ZnO/CdS heterostructures with varying shell thickness structures
Abstract
Abstract The ZnO/CdS core/shell nanostructures have attracted much attention in their specific tunable optical characteristics have led to the present day. The preparation method of core/shell structures by Starch is an advantageous method. The optical properties of CdS/ZnO nanostructures have significant effects on their visible region. The physics behind the electron and holes wave functions separation in this type II ZnO/CdS core/shell nanostructure is well explained.
