Electrochemical fabrication of lead oxide-electrochemically reduced graphene oxide nanocomposites (PbO-ERGO) and their photoelectrochemical properties
Abstract
Abstract In this study, lead oxide- reduced graphene oxide (PbO-rGO) nanocomposites have been prepared with a new electrochemical process, based on co-deposition from the same solution on indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode. SEM, XPS, EDS and UV–visible spectroscopy techniques were employed to analyze the morphological, structural, and optical characteristics of the composite materials. Uniform and rapid photocurrent responses (∼157 μA cm−2) were observed due to the rapid charge transport in the composite material and the single crystalline structure of PbO-ERGO.
