Abstract Efficient stereodivergent syntheses of (+)-lycoperdic acid (LPA) and 4-epi-LPA have been achieved based on asymmetric hydrogenation (H2, Rh/(R,S)-MeBoPhoz) of racemic enamide as a key step.
