Solvent-dependent oxidative triflamidation of alkenes and N(O)-Heterocyclization of the products
Abstract
Abstract The reactions of triflamidation of alkenes in the presence of different oxidative systems and solvents proceed with the formation of the products of the amidine and acetamide types. With N-bromosuccinimide in acetonitrile or THF, the Ritter type products of bromotriflamidation are formed, which undergo base-induced intramolecular heterocyclization to 1H-imidazolines and 1,4-oxazocanes under mild conditions in practically quantitative yield.
