Whole Protein Imprinting over Magnetic Nanoparticles Using Photopolymerization

Abstract

Photopolymerization using UV-light at 365 nm was used for the first time to imprint whole proteins. Combined with a grafting approach onto functionalized magnetic nanoparticles, a new and faster way to synthesize magnetic protein imprinted polymers with outstanding adsorption capacities was developed.
