Calix[4]amido crown functionalized visible sensors for cyanide and iodide anions

Abstract

The benzyl and furfuryl functionalized calix[4] arene amido crown ionophores with structural stringency and steric hindrance showed selective colorimetric sensing towards iodide (I−) and cyanide (CN−) ions.
