PLM-systems application in aerospace industry

Abstract

The research relevance is due to the need to search for opportunities to improve project management efficiency in the aerospace industry. The PLM system is an integral part of the aerospace industry. This paper analyzes the feasibility of implementing the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technology and examines the requirements for the PLM system for creating space technology. The review results showed that PLM-technologies can be successfully applied to aerospace product development and design. The effective result of implementing this technology is flexible methodologies application and model-oriented and numerical modeling of the new product design usage.
