Application of the laser knife method for visualization of structures in a hypersonic boundary layer

Abstract

At present, the development of laser technology and high-speed optical cameras suggests that the necessary experimental information can be obtained by optical methods. Therefore, the work is aimed at developing optical method for measuring structures in hypersonic boundary layers as applied to the study of the mechanisms of laminar-turbulent transition.
