Abstract The aim of this work is to provide a criterion for the rigidity of 2-step nilpotent Lie superalgebras in the variety of 2-step nilpotent Lie superalgebras of dimension We give several examples of rigid 2-step nilpotent Lie superalgebras of any dimension.
