Two new alkaloids from Tibetan medicine of Hypecoum leptocarpum.

Abstract

Two new alkaloids, leptocarpinine B (1) and corydamine acid (2), with thirteen known alkaloid compounds (3-15), were isolated from Hypecoum leptocarpum. The structures of the isolated compounds were determined based on spectroscopic data analyses, including IR, ESI-MS, 1\u2009D, and 2\u2009D NMR. In addition, all the isolates were evaluated for cytotoxic activities. Compound 6 showed moderate cytotoxicity against human ovarian cancer cell lines (A2780), human cervical cancer cell lines (HeLa), and human hepatocellular carcinomas cell lines (HepG2).
