Evaluation of the effects of traction on ankle kinematics during a side cut using bfPCA

Abstract

A partial least-squares regression (PLSR) model was created and trained with 50 datasets of each group using a ‘leave-one-out’ cross-validation analysis and another 15 datasets of each group were used to test the PLSR model. All statistics and analysis was conducted in the statistics and machine-learning toolbox in Matlab (R2018a, The MathWorks, Natick, MA, USA). The statistical significance level was set at 0.05.
