A Three-Team Conjugate Gradient Method with Disturbance Factors for Unconstrained Optimization

Abstract

In this paper, combining the three-term conjugate gradient method and the two-term conjugate gradient method with disturbance factors, a three-term conjugate gradient method with disturbance factors is proposed for solving unconstrained optimization problem. An attractive property of the method is that the generated direction is always sufficient descent direction, and this property is independent of the line search used. Under mild conditions, the global convergence of the proposed method with Wolfe line search is established.
