Abstract

A chiral fluorescent sensor containing (S)-BINOL and 1, 2, 3-triazole moieties was synthesized via through a nucleophilic substitution reaction and a click reaction with high total yield. The fluorescence responses of chiral compounds W1 and ferric ion were investigated by a fluorescence spectra. The fluorescence emission intensity of W1 at λ = 390 nm (λex = 300 nm) was quenched quickly upon the coordination with a ferric ion while other metal ions had no obvious change.
