Abstract

Since 2003 Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (now School of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies) of Tomsk Polytechnic University periodically organizes International Science and Technology Conference “Advanced Materials for Engineering and Functional Purposes”. Today TPU, relying on its unique experience and scientific developments, continues to perform the strategic objective of training personnel for industry facilities not only in Russia, but also abroad. The International Science and Technology Conference for Youth “Advanced Materials for Engineering and Functional Purposes” (AMEFP-2020) was successfully held from September 21th to September 25th, 2020. The Conference gathered young scientists, students, researchers, and invited industrial specialists working in manufacturing, engineering, physical-chemical and information technologies, as well as in automation systems, materials science and medicine in order to facilitate aggregation and sharing interests and results for a better collaboration in advanced manufacturing technologies and development.
