Abstract


Call for Manuscripts The Canadian Journal of Counselling will publish a special issue devoted to Career Counselling for Women. Dr. Geneviève Fournier and Dr. Anne Marshall will be the Guest editors for this theme issue. Counsellor educators, practitioners, researchers, field supervisors, and counsellor trainers are encouraged to submit manuscripts dealing with conceptual, research, or practice issues related to career development and/or career counselling for women. One-page proposals for manuscripts are requested for this special issue. Manuscripts might address topics such as women s cateer development needs; alternative career paths for women; balancing work and family roles; women s unemployment and/ot undeiemployment; career issues for women related to diversity (culture, ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, or special needs groups); innovative career programs for women; or community partnerships involving career and employment for women. Other topics related to women and careers are encouraged as well. One-page English proposals for manuscripts should be submitted to Dt.
