Abstract

In order to improve the adaptability of the magnetically coupled resonant wireless power transfer system to the changes in the position of the receiving coil, this paper first proposes a power transmitting coil array composed of five independent coils. By controlling the input voltage of the five independent coils, the magnetic field excited by the transmitting coil array can be edited. Then, the multi-input single-output wireless power transfer system composed of the proposed transmitting coil array and a single receiving coil is modeled and analyzed, and the calculation equations of the transmission efficiency and output power are obtained, and the multi-objective genetic algorithm is used to obtain the optimal solution for the input voltage of the transmitting coil array. Finally, the simulation analysis is carried out to verify the theoretical method. The results show that the proposed method can significantly enhance the adaptability of the wireless power transfer system to the lateral displacement and angle changes of the receiving coil, so that the wireless power transfer system can obtain stable transmission efficiency and output power.
