An Novel Integrated Iterative Dynamic Programming Control Strategy for Batch Processes
Abstract
A novel iterative dynamic programming (IDP) control strategy combined with a novel model predictive control(MPC) strategy which has a decreasing time field is proposed in this paper. It uses our previous neuro fuzzy model (NFM) to predict output values of batch processes. A control law is obtained through a iterative dynamic programming controller based on the neuro fuzzy model in the domain of batch-axis, then the control value of each moment is successively adjusted by a model predictive controller which has a time-decreasing prediction horizon in the domain of time-axis. Therefore, the control law of batch process can be adjusted on the time-axis when there is internal disturbance or external disturbance occurs. The convergence of the proposed control strategy is described and proved. Lastly, in order to verify the applicability of the novel method, two examples are simulated.
