Study on Characteristics of Infrared Absorption Spectrum of SF6 Decomposition Component CO

Abstract

Infrared absorption characteristics of gases is a key basis for its qualitative measurement. In this paper, the temperature and pressure characteristics of the infrared absorption spectrum of CO were studied on the basis of HITRAN database. Because the peak value and linewidth of absorption line are two important parameters of the absorption line, in this paper, based on the line by line integration method, we have carried out the simulation on the characteristics of near infrared band 6350~6420 cm-1. The results show that the linewidth is mainly affected by the pressure, and with the increase of pressure, the linewidth also increases; while the absorption peak is mainly affected by the temperature, and with the increase of temperature, the peak will decrease. In contrast, although the pressure will also affect the peak, the influence is low. The results provide a reference for the selection of the CO laser and the temperature and pressure of the gas cell.
