Experimental Design and Analysis of Triboelectric Nanogenerator for energy harvesting applications
Abstract
With the increasing in human population and decreasing in traditional energy methods made the human society all around to re-think towards Alternate energy sources. Moreover, potential usage of miniaturized electronic devices has been increasing in our day-to-day activities and their energy requirements also very less in terms of few mW/$\\mu$ W. This paved a new path for many industrialist to turn their head towards energy harvesting techniques from human physiological body movements like walking, breathing, jogging, squatting etc., This research work mainly focuses on fabrication of Triboelectric nanogenerator using organic polymer materials PDMS Poly (dimethylsiloxane) which is a suitable candidate due to its interesting physical, electrical and mechanical property, cost effectiveness, user-friendliness, by low cost spin coating technique and subsequent annealing at $70-80^{\\circ}C$.
