Temperature Sensor Using a Hybrid Structure with Plastic Optical Fiber and Bimetal Element
Abstract
The work presented in this paper proposes a hybrid system for measuring temperature using an optical fiber and a bimetal element. This approach underlines that the sensor in use has a linear response segment and performs a calibration interval of values. This method of measuring temperature brings new capabilities of measuring the temperature in environments where other sensors heavily disrupted are not working.
