Speed Adaptive Voltage Closed-Loop Field-Weakening Control for Induction Motor Drives
Abstract
This paper proposed a speed adaptive voltage closed-loop field-weakening control for induction motor (IM) drives. The structure of the cascade voltage loop and complex vector current loop is designed for field-weakening control. On this basis, a speed adaptive design criterion is presented for the voltage loop tuning. Compared with the conventional fixed-parameter method, the proposed adaptive voltage control shows superiorities in transient process and current ripple reduction. The experimental results on a commercial IM drive system verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
