Sampling Time Variation of the EK-H5 Based Humidity Data Acquisition System
Abstract
Experimental studies often require the registration of a certain number of physical quantities (temperature, pressure, humidity, CO2 concentration, etc.). Usually, data acquisition systems (abbreviated with the acronym DAQ), are used for this purpose. The main objective of the present work is to study the variation of the sampling time of the humidity data acquisition system based on the EKH5 evolution kit of the Swiss company Sensirion. It has been found out that during the operation the effective sampling time changes randomly closely following the Bernoulli distribution, with the actual values being equal to or greater than the selected value. The probability of these were respectively 0,3 and 0,7.
