Methodological Support of Studying the Principles of Multichannel Measuring Systems Construction

 
 
 
 

Abstract


The methodological issues, studied during the laboratory course, aimed at studying the principles of multichannel information and measurement systems (IMS) construction based on programmable logic controllers (PLC) with the use of network interfaces by students are considered. The following course of works reflecting the stages of multichannel IMS creation is offered: PLC inclusion in the information network - laboratory work No. 1; application of the module of discrete block input-output as a multi-channel device to work with digital, discrete and logical signals - laboratory work No. 2; creation of multi-channel IMS for control and management of process elements - laboratory work No. 3; creation of multi-channel IMS for control and management of the technological process node - laboratory work No. 4. As a result of performance of laboratory works students acquire skills of construction of programmable multichannel IMS for control and management of complex technical objects.
